IS CITY HALL PUTTING YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND SAFETY AT RISK?

Recently posted by VeniceSonic.com

In the past few years City Council Members have pushed Service Providing Centers for the Homeless into some communities in the Stealth of Night. No Public Meetings were conducted and therefore no Public Comments were made or even considered!

This is raising concerns and questions as to HOW THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES
selects certain areas over others to open up service centers for the Homeless.

Downtown Los Angeles has its Skid-Row, but with all the new upscale developments downtown, our City Leaders are shifting the less fortunate of the community to other areas, just like yours! The Mayor and the task force of 50 police officers aren’t solving the problem, they’re just moving it.

Every community, even the affluent ones, will eventually be called upon to do its share to support the homeless. We aren’t brushing off our social responsibility and compassion for the less fortunate.

We are mad as hell at Councilman Rosendahl and the closed door politics he practiced, his lies, and his deception. He was supposed to be our representative, but he sold us down the river for big time downtown developers, friends, and his personal agenda. The junior Councilman has a lot to learn about not double-crossing his constituents.

Let your council representative know you demand to know what is going on and your community wants to be involved in the process of deciding what homeless services will be coming to your backyard. We all need to help and participate, but the process needs to be open and fair.

Tell them, “Don’t pull a ROSENDAHL!!!!”

THIS IS YOUR RIGHT! THIS IS WHAT WE DEMAND!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS BATTLE! Other communities like Venice and Hollywood are setting an example in showing the City that going against the residents behind closed doors is the wrong approach, and it won’t stand!

YOU VOTED THEM INTO OFFICE AND
YOU HAVE THE POWER TO GET THEM OUT!

If you are concerned about back door politics and you want to
send a message to your elected representatives that working
behind closed doors, planning important critical issues is NOT OK,
Support our fight for an open and fair planning process, and
then you might avoid being caught in our very ugly situation.
